Itinerary
Day 1 :
Arrival and transfer to Kandy
- Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, and meet our representative at the airport arrival lounge.
- Transfer you to Kandy; Kandy is the gateway to Central Hills and the beautiful East Coast of Sri Lanka.
- Overnight stay at Kandy
Day 2 :
Kandy City Tour and Train Journey to Ella
- Breakfast at the hotel; Visit Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya.
- Visit the Temple of Tooth Relic, Kandy one of the most Buddhist sacred places in the world that were declared a World Heritage by UNESCO. There are many famous things related to this ancient city; the Kandy Esala Perahera and Kandyan Dancer are two of them. You can explore more about this on your next vacation to Kandy, Sri Lanka.
- Lunch at a recommended restaurant in Kandy.
- Train Journey to Ella - this is one of the most scenic train journeys in the world; the railway was originally built in the British colonial times for transport tea from central hills to Colombo. But nowadays this has become a world-famous tourist attraction. The journey will through green lush tea plantations, paddy fields, countrysides, tunnels, forests, and scenic mountains. This is a must-train ride on your next vacation to Sri Lanka. You have four different kinds of seat options to book in this train; Luxury Air Conditioned Compartment, Observation Saloon (non-AC), First Class Air Conditioned, and 2nd Class Air Conditioned. You should pay in advance and book your seat.

Day 3 :
Ella, Udawalawe National Park
- Breakfast at the hotel, visit Little Adam’s Peak, Ella Nine Arch Bridge, Ella Rock, and Dova Ancient Temple.
- Transfer you to Udawalawe
- Lunch at a recommended restaurant in Udawalawe.
- Evening safari in Udawalawe National Park; This national park has been established in 1970 to create a sanctuary for displaced wild animals through the construction of Udawalawe Reservoir. It’s one of the best places for wildlife photography, Bird watching, and seeing Asian elephants.
- Transfer you to Hikkaduwa, Overnight stay at Hikkaduwa.
Day 4 :
Hikkaduwa Beach & Departure
- Breakfast at the hotel, boat safari and beach stay at Hikkaduwa beach.
