Itinerary
Day 1 :
Negombo
- Arrival at Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport; meet our representatives.
- Transfer to the hotel in Negombo
- Negombo City Tour; Negombo is a town that has been built during the colonial eras namely by the Portuguese and Dutch. You can witness Old Dutch Fort, Dutch Hamilton Canal, St. Marie’s Church, and also the Negombo Lagoon
- Evening beach leisure in scenic Negombo beach
- Overnight stay at Negombo
Day 2 :
Sigiriya, Dambulla
- Breakfast at the hotel and depart to Dambulla - approximately a 3 hour's drive
- Visit Dambulla Cave temple; This world heritage site is an ancient hermitage that was built in the first century BC with attractive frescoes and statues of Lord Buddha. This well-preserved cave temple complex is located on a rock that towers 160 meters that have a stunning view of the surrounding plain area.
- Visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress.
- Lunch at the recommended restaurant in Sigiriya.
- Evening safari in Hurulu Eco Park Habarana.
- Back to the hotel and overnight stay at Sigiriya.
Day 3 :
Sigiriya Village Safari, Minneriya National Park

Day 4 :
Anuradhapura, Ancient site visit
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Transfer to Anuradhapura - approximately a 1 ½ hours drive
- An ancient site visit to Anuradhapura, the first capital city of Sri Lanka established in 377 by King Pandukabhaya. The most prominent period of the Anuradhapura was begin after the arrival of Buddhism to the island. This happened in the King Devanampiyatissa rural times; the culture, governance method, cultivation, and irrigation systems have been dramatically changed. Witness this historical conversion and explore the great civilization that was inspired by Buddhism; visit Sri Maha Bodhi bo-tree, Ruwanvelseya Dageba, Mirisawetiya Dagaba, Abhayagiriya, Thuparamaya, Rathna Prasadaya, Kuttam Pokuna, Jethwana Stupa, Lovamahapaya.

Day 5 :
Wilpattu National Park
- Early departure from the hotel to Wilpattu National Park with picnic breakfast and lunch
- Full day safari in Wilpattu National Park
- Back to the hotel and overnight stay at Anuradhapura
Day 6 :
Ancient site seen in Polonnaruwa
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Ancient site seen in Polonnaruwa; the second capital of Sri Lanka, has been established after the collapse of the Anuradhapura era by Chola invaders. In 1070 King Vijayabahu defeated the Chola invaders and reunite the country. Witness this great history and visit Rankoth Vehera, Watadageya, Hatadageya, Thiwanka Pilima Geya, and Galviharaya sacred places and see the largest reservoir in ancient Sri Lanka, the Parakrama Samudraya.

Day 7 :
Minneriya National Park
- Early morning depart to Minneriya National Park with picnic breakfast and lunch
- Full day safari at Minneriya National Park
- Back to the hotel in Polonnaruwa.

Day 8 :
Spice Gardens Matale, Kandy
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Drive to Matale to witness the spice garden - approximately a 2 ½ hours drive.
- See the cultivation of the world-famous Srilankan spices; cinnamon, pepper, cardamom, nutmeg and mace, cocoa, vanilla, and soon on.
- Drive to Kandy - approximately a 1-hour drive
- Lunch at a recommended restaurant in Kandy
- Visit Temple of Tooth Relic, Kandy
- Evening Cultural show at Kandy Cultural Center, many of the events performed in world famous Kandy Esala Perahera are included in this.
- Back to hotel and overnight stay at Kandy.
Day 9 :
Pinnawala, Peradeniya, Kandy
- Early morning departure from the hotel to Pinnawala elephant orphanage - approximately 1 ½ hours drive; watch feeding elephant calves, feed giants by yourself.
- Breakfast at the recommended restaurant at Pinnawala
- Drive to Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya - The largest flora collection as a botanical garden in Sri Lanka; that stretched over 147 acres with 4000 species of plants including orchids, palms, medicinal plants, and spices and it attracts 2 million people per year from all around the world.
- Drive back to Kandy
- Trek in the Udawattakele Forest Reserve.
- Lunch at a Recommended restaurant in Kandy; taste and witness the making of traditional Sri Lankan sweets.
- Shopping around Kandy; Kandy is one of the best places to shopping souvenirs, gems, handicrafts, handloom sarees, and clothes on your tour route.
- Back to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay at Kandy hotel.
Day 10 :
Train Journey to Ella, Around Ella
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Transfer to Railway Station, Kandy.
- Train journey to Ella; one of the most scenic train journeys in the World.
- Meet you at the Railway station, Ella.
- Visit Ella Rock and Nine Arch Bridge.
- Drop you at the hotel and overnight stay at Ella.
Day 11 :
Ella
- Early departure from the hotel to Little Adam’s Peak
- Back to the hotel and have your breakfast.
- Visit the ancient Dowa Temple.
